On a slightly different point, if we are assuming that Milan appointed Sousa to aid the sale to the Thais, then can we assume that the 'new owners' know absolutely nothing about football? How can we be a better prospect with a manager that has zero reputation? I honestly don't believe that these people are so stupid, and don't believe this to be the sole reason why Pearson left.

Theirs no denying Milan saved our club from the brink of non existance, but the way this takeover has been done is diabolical. The fans have been told nothing, and what they have been told has turned out to be rubbish mostly.

How many times have we been told the takeover will take "one more week"?

The sooner the takeover is finalised the sooner we can start moving on.

No he can't because it is not necessarily true. In fact, I'd say it was extremely unlikely that we would go under. If we didn't go under in 2003, why would we in 2007? If Portsmouth haven't gone under, why would we? If Cardiif haven't gone under, why would we? If we were in so much trouble, where were all our winding up orders?

I have a feeling that no club our size would be allowed to go under. We will always get away with it whilst teams like Chester can't.

Yes we were skint, but we would not have been wound up, liquidated or ceased to exist. There is no evidence to suggest we would.

He is not to blame for letting Pearson go, in order to facilitate the sale, he needed to get someone in to appease the buyers, sound business move. While us and Hull are in the same division next season and we are shot of Mandaric no one will be mourning the loss of Pearson.

I dont care what he is doing at hull, the fact is the club was going forwards with him as our manager and we were set for another promotion push this season.

playoffs after promotion and years of struggling is an achievement, its glory supporters who only bang on about cups.

waghorn my guess is self financing.

sold DJ for most of the fee and the rest robably paid with the savings on wages this season.

He's being very negative, saying that nobody is happy and likening the mood around the place as to when we were relegated, yet he STILL has faith in Sousa? Is this guy for real? Plus he says we demonstrated our capability against Portsmouth.. that we were utter crap?

I fear that his friendship with Sousa will keep them both here for longer yet and by then we could be in a disastrous position. From the sounds of what Sousa's training techniques and attitude is like, we really must change it before it's too late, he's got to go. Win or no win against Scunny, use the break to get someone in who knows how to communicate to the players, give them faith in their ability and restore the great confidence and team spirit we had last year which is clearly lacking this season.

Anyway how do you know there was no money?

Pearson would have signed a new contract with us otherwise. Mandaric didn't promise him anything in the transfer market, and that didn't sit well with Pearson.
