Ozwin Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 I think Davies is just a Heskey/Zamora replacement. He won't be called up again after this game unless he bangs in a hatrick.
StanSP Posted 5 October 2010 Author Posted 5 October 2010 Marc Albrighton is definitely a future star, for sure. Along with Jack Rodwell, who I'm sure would have been in this squad had it not been for injury. Tipping them to be the next big thing, the latter being a captain of the national side I think one day.

I really want to believe the Rodwell hype, but I'm not sure I've seen anything to suggest he's going to be a superstar other than the fact that he's massive. And I thought we only liked little players now?

Consistently performed well for England youth/U21 teams, broken through in to the Everton first team and scored some crackers (including one against Man Utd last season which isn't included in the clip below).
sdb Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Tuesday Albrightn is class but already looking a little tired to me. Needs a game or 2' break imo.
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Hart Johnson - Jagielka - Terry - Cole ----Huddlestone - Wilshere----- ----Johnson - Gerrard - A. Young-- -------------------Bent -- If Gerrard doesnt pull his weight, get him off and put rooney on, switching to 4-4-2

Big Ol' Bob Posted 9 October 2010 Posted 9 October 2010 Still no Scott Parker, very disappointing. IMO if we had any English manager then he would be in the squad every time and no doubt in the first team. He is the perfect player to play behind Gerrard, can boss midfield even aginst the likes of Chelsea and Man Utd in the prem yet doesn't get a look in. JOKE. Just because Huddlestone is a much fashionable choice.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 9 October 2010 Posted 9 October 2010 Anyone going? When is this game being played? Tuesday
Samilktray Posted 9 October 2010 Posted 9 October 2010 Scott Parker looks better because West Ham are awful. Average player
Professor Terrance Ginola Posted 10 October 2010 Posted 10 October 2010 Joe Hart Phil Jagielka - John Terry - Stephen Warnock Joe Cole - Gareth Barry - Steven Gerrard - Jack Wilshere - Adam Johnson Peter Crouch - Wayne Rooney Subs Ben Foster Robert Green Kevin Davies A proper ENGLISH team.
StanSP Posted 10 October 2010 Author Posted 10 October 2010 Jagielka is injured by the way for Tuesday's game now. Cahill is his replacement.
