The Doctor Posted 6 October 2010 Posted 6 October 2010 Then there's Jeremy Toulalan, but he just looks like he's 50. . don't really understand the suprise, yes 47 is old for a pro player but goalkeepers last longer than outfield players and can usually make 43 or so before retiring.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 6 October 2010 Posted 6 October 2010 Always one of my favourites Kevin Poole, I remember the brilliant save he made vs Stoke in the home leg of the play off semis, fantastic. I do also remember him tossing the ball back to Anders Limpar of Everton while he was well out of his goal (city had conceded a free kick) and Limpar promptly chipping the ball into our vacant goal! Funny thinking about it now but not at the time.
