Austin Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Gallagher* No need to correct the spelling .. I had it right first time, He lives off of the odd great goal for us. The only reason he makes the 11 is because we haven't got enough strength in the squad to replace him. <_<
Guest Bilo Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Weale Naughton Hobbs Davies BernerGallagher Abe King MoussaWaghorn Howard SUBS: Logan, Neilson, Morrison, Moreno, Kennedy, Wellens, Oakley
Petchy Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Seaman Mills Campbell Ferdinand Ashley ColeBeckham Scholes Butt Sinclair Owen Heskey There's a whole 24 hours left.. so he's got enough time to get the 2002 squad back together
HonradaRaposa Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 still it was a toss up between weale and logan since i'd rather see blind barry the one legged paratrooper who lost both his legs in the war be played in goal than ikeme, with weale dropping a major clanger on saturday, give logan the shirt. It wasn't a major clanger, Derby was a major clanger, the ball dipped and skipped just infront of his hand.
The Doctor Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 It wasn't a major clanger, Derby was a major clanger, the ball dipped and skipped just infront of his hand. why are you of all people defending him? You seem to go on a witchhunt for every player at the slightest mistake/
Petchy Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Great debate on Bentleys about goalkeepers today. One stat that came out, in 5 and a half games this season Logan has lost 16 goals, 2.5 games in the league conceeding 11 out of the 24 goals that have gone against us. Its fair to say Logan is rubbish. Don't think thats very fair seeing as the defence has been to blame when he has played.. example: Pompey.
HonradaRaposa Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Don't think thats very fair seeing as the defence has been to blame when he has played.. example: Pompey. Logan plays in the league, nil points, Ikeme plays 7 points and Weale 2 points. Logan is rubbish, the stats don' t lie.
FoxyPV Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Howard has to be the first name on the teamsheet if fit. Leeds always bring out the best in him.
Petchy Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Logan plays in the league, nil points, Ikeme plays 7 points and Weale 2 points. Logan is rubbish, the stats don' t lie. Don't make me laugh mate.. 'stats' as you call them may not lie but they're useless when you don't take into context the contributing factors.
JamesLCFC Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 If Dyer isnt fit and after gallaghers poor performance and missing 3 times in the 18 yard box it would be.... Weale Naughton Davies Hobbs Berner Moussa Wellens King Oakley Howard And Waghorn Would swap howard for fryatt when he is back though
HonradaRaposa Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Don't make me laugh mate.. 'stats' as you call them may not lie but they're useless when you don't take into context the contributing factors. 27 games only 4 clean sheets, 9 wins and conceeds about 2 goals a game. Logan is rubbish.
The Doctor Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Logan plays in the league, nil points, Ikeme plays 7 points and Weale 2 points. Logan is rubbish, the stats don' t lie. those stats suggest ikeme is the best keeper we have, and that's completely untrue.
HonradaRaposa Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 those stats suggest ikeme is the best keeper we have, and that's completely untrue. Prove it.
Petchy Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Exactly, thank you LargeAl. And your valuable stats mean Chris Powell and Mike Stowell are the best managers the club have ever had seeing as they have a 100% record... churn up as many stats as you like but they don't mean anything when you don't take into context the situation, and most importantly, common sense.

No that would be Alan Evans who had one game in charge and we beat Arsenal in the Premier League in 1995. Also Stowell had a stint as caretaker before. Common sense says Conrad Logan is fookin awful, a career record of letting in 2 goals a game for us suggests he will never be good enough for this football club.
The Doctor Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Prove it. go watch the highlights of any game he's played for us and you'll see at least one major clanger. Should have saved the header v cov, should have done better for cardiffs goal, should have claimed the cross for QPR's first, the list goes on.

HonradaRaposa Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 And the depressing thing is Logan was MOTM for at least 2 of the 5... The fat albino doesn't inspire confidence within his back 4.
Petchy Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Forget it, obviously your just being stubborn for the hell of it now. The guy's 24 and goalkeepers don't peak until they are into their 30s. Compared to what he was like in 2006 when he had a run of games as first choice, he's improved a lot. I believe he will continue to get better too with experience, why do you think the club hasn't got rid yet? I'm sure they're sitting on a bank of stats much greater than yours but unlike yourself they don't judge a player on numbers....

Naylors goal was a fluke, Morrison left Mackie free 15 yards out, no keeper was coming for that cross and Platts goal was a good header. We haven't brought up the 3 conceeded against the might of Macclesfield yet. We have got 7 points with Ikeme and zero with Logan, 100% cast iron fact.
caz05 Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 The fat albino doesn't inspire confidence within his back 4. You really are a horrible person arent you. If i wasnt such a lady id tell you to stick your facts somewhere
