Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Anyone who still wants Gallagher in our midfield obviously hasn't been down to a game this season (i am a season ticket holder)......our worst player this season as far as I am concerned. Can't shoot for sh*t, can't take a decent free kick ( this season), has absolutely no minerals at all...i.e. he won't/can't tackle, can't head a ball, no pace at all....and I was actually a fan of his last season for some reason. Never ever ever want to see him in a city shirt ever again...awful...in fact I really am starting to hate this bloke......rant over!!!! oh..by the way....i think he's crap!! Agree with some of this, apart from the bit about him never wearing the shirt again. His biggest problem is that he actually does not have a position. He isnt a striker, despite both himself and others claiming he is, as he is neither stroong or quick and just gets bullied off the ball. He isnt quick enough to be a winger all he does is kick it down the line. And he cant header (despite not being small height wise), he is so weak, never actually sprints and thinks he is better than he is. He can sometimes cross the ball and occasionally puts in a good free kick, but all in all he is very frustrating. For me, he lives of the Scunny hat trick and Forest free kick, because otherwise he hasnt actually done all that much.
Austin Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 weale Naughton Davies Hobbs Bruno Moussa Wellens King Dyer(if fit)/Gallashite Waghorn and well no choice but Howard. (if he shakes off the knock from yesterday)
Salieri Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 I'll go for: Weale Naughton - Davies - Hobbs - Berner Moussa - King - Wellens - Dyer (if fit) Howard - Waghorn If no more signings arrive before the Leeds game then i'd go for that.
Adster Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 weale Naughton Davies Hobbs Bruno Moussa Wellens King Dyer(if fit)/Gallashite Waghorn and well no choice but Howard. (if he shakes off the knock from yesterday) Gallagher*
Walshy5 Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Weale Naughton Davies Hobbs Berner Moussa King Wellens Dyer Howard Waghorn
ajthefox Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 Weale Naughton Davies Hobbs Berner Moussa King Wellens Dyer Howard Waghorn This. If Dyer isn't fit and neither is DNG I'd put Moussa on the left and Oakley on the right.
Jakemoore Posted 17 October 2010 Posted 17 October 2010 you need 7 subs, not 6. Cool, you can be a sub then
ACF Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 I'd just love to hear your reasoning for "Abe for Richie". Have you ever even watched the Abe? One day the bloke might be a good central midfielder for us - but, just like Kaebi, I've seen no signs of it yet. I've seen him for Japan, looked pretty decent. I'm going by what people have complained about, and providing answers. I may be 15, but I'm no dumbass.
FrankieADZ Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 im hoping for something like this Weale Naughton Davis Hobbs Berner Moussa Wellens King Dyer Waggy Howard(or a signing if we get it)
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 People calling for Abe are crazy. He cannot speak any English and subsequently I'm not sure how he is supposed to listen to instructions, formations etc. He looks so far out of his depth it is untrue. It was shocking on Saturday when he dithered on the ball and lost possession.
HEGGSY Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 WEALE NAUGHTON HOBBS DAVIES BERNER KING WELLENS DYER MOUSSA WAGHORN LOAN STRIKER

It was shocking on Saturday when he dithered on the ball and lost possession. oh my god, this is beckoning like some kind of scary mantra... this is leicester we're talking about, how many times have our players dithered and given away possession this season, hundreds of times, and some actually led to goals - from what i heard and from what finnigan said, he lost the ball but tracked back for it. there are a few players who are regularly picked who would just stand and watch. as far as the communication thing, before he got subbed after vitors red card, him dyer and king were playing some sublime passing triangles, it was a joy to watch. if we have to watch howard lumbering around and balls just bouncing of him, and oakley and wellens passing the ball to no-one, i don't see why Abe would be any more crazy a selection.
Bettsj2 Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Weale Naughton Davis Hobbs Kennedy Moussa King Abe Vassell (Dyer if fit) Waghorn Roberts (Howard if he doesnt sign)
YEP Digital Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Check out Boot Room TV, a football preview programme which looks ahead to the clash with Leeds United. CLICK ON THE LINK TO WATCH THE SHOW.
Heskey2011 Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Spot on but without Howard because he is USELESS, the only things he is good for is to bring him on for the last 10 minutes. He was the star of the show for us last visit to bEllend Road.
Dylan Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Weale Naughton Davies Hobbs Berner Moussa King Wellens Dyer (depending on his fitness) Waghorn Gallagher (or a loan striker if we get one)
Wymsey Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Weale Naughton Hobbs Davies Berner Gallagher King Wellens Oakley Abe N'guessan Like the Scotland team it should be like this. Less chance of conceding and the midfielders can go forward on the counter attacks. Simples. Leave the strikers on the bench, don't score much
Kent Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Moussa King Abe Vassell (Dyer if fit) Vassell won't be fit enough for about another 2 weeks.
Howard9 Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 final match of suspension - i think. logan Naughton ----- Davies ------ Hobbs ------- Kennedy Dyer ---- Moreno ------- Wellens --------- Moussa King Waghorn subs: Weale, Morrison, Berner, Abe, Oakley, Howard, Gallagher king seems to contribute most in the box so why not play him as almost a second striker? And with moreno in there wellens can push forward more and play in the way he did at donny, as more of a playmaker than a deep-lying breaker. WTF are you thinking ? Moreno ? whose played shite everytime we've played him ? and FFS Logan ? over Weale ? mate have a word with yourself
The Doctor Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 WTF are you thinking ? Moreno ? whose played shite everytime we've played him ? and FFS Logan ? over Weale ? mate have a word with yourself i thought he did well at pompey (cup) - when we actually played him in midfield. And weale gets beaten from distance too easily.
caz05 Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 He was the star of the show for us last visit to bEllend Road. He likes playing against leeds

One stat that came out, in 5 and a half games this season Logan has lost 16 goals, 2.5 games in the league conceeding 11 out of the 24 goals that have gone against us. Its fair to say Logan is rubbish.
Kent Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Weale Naughton ----- Davies ------ Hobbs ------- BernerGallagher ---- King ------- Wellens --------- MoussaWaghorn------Howard We're short of wingers with these injuries.
