caz05 Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Go fooking complain on a different forum, cause we're all sick of it.
lifted*fox Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 This bloke is just some **** who's got fook all else to do but wind you lot up. Stop responding & he'll go back to wanking over his useless stats. ****.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 oh my god, this is beckoning like some kind of scary mantra... this is leicester we're talking about, how many times have our players dithered and given away possession this season, hundreds of times, and some actually led to goals - from what i heard and from what finnigan said, he lost the ball but tracked back for it. there are a few players who are regularly picked who would just stand and watch. as far as the communication thing, before he got subbed after vitors red card, him dyer and king were playing some sublime passing triangles, it was a joy to watch. if we have to watch howard lumbering around and balls just bouncing of him, and oakley and wellens passing the ball to no-one, i don't see why Abe would be any more crazy a selection. Whenever he's been on the field he appears to drift in and out of position and generally looks quite lost, that's my opinion, Maybe I'd rather watch someone who can speak English lose the ball or get caught out but at least he can be told about it and communicate back and forth. I just can't help thinking that this signing was more about boosting the reputation of the club in Asia as about improving the team....

danny. Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Abe didn't just dither and lose the ball, he had no movement on Saturday, I lost count how many times Naughton had the ball and was waiting for Abe to move and he just stood there. I'd rather have Wellens personally, i don't see what is so great about Yuki Abe, if his name was Bill Smith from Rochdale no-one would want him played.

marbelladave Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Weale Naughton - Davies - Hobbs - BernerWellens - AbeMoussa - King - GallagherWaghorn Given who is/is not available that is not a bad call... In fact very similar to the side I have wanted to see for a while, (a fit) Dyer for Wellens would be my only change with King dropping back alongside Abe and Dyer on the right with Gallagher in the hole. A word about Gallagher. Desite some awful finishing on saturday he remains one of the few players we have who can create something out of nothing. He needs to be given the free role where he can find some space. I know he is not great defensively so I would always give him a specific and straightforward task. On saturday he should have been told to mark Koren, forget everthing else, when we lose possesion close him down and stay with him until he can be handed off to a more capable defensive player. Just denying him time and space in the middle third is enough, he will not then be able to pick his passes as he did second half.
marbelladave Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 4-4-2 God. Some people never learn Quite right... 4-4-fooking-2 is practically medieval. Even if we thought it was a good idea; We do not have any proper wide midfielders, We do not have a holding player, essential if we are playing just 2 central midfielders, We do not have an effective big man for Fryatt/Waghorn to play off. Time to move on...

Isn't that an oxymoron? Gallagher has been woeful this season. I know you are a Wellens basher but Abe for Wellens?? Abe is all at sea at the moment.

I'd rather have Wellens personally, i don't see what is so great about Yuki Abe, if his name was Bill Smith from Rochdale no-one would want him played. Couldn't have put it better myself. He's far too slight to be an effective championship defensive midfielder.
Adster Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 i can see why people slate gallagher, as his shooting was woeful against hull. which isnt normal, when you eventually saw him play under sousa (which was hardly ever) his shooting was pretty championship standard, hitting the bar against pompey in the cup and hitting the bar a few times against thailand. but a stunning finish when he scored against thailand. we know he is capable. give him a free role like i've said for a while, and he'll be a good player for us this season. play up gally
Uncle Monty Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 I dont rate Gally at all really. Whenever I see him play he dissapoints, he seems to be one of those direct players with one touch to much. Although saying that, his backwards header goal was almost god like.

marbelladave Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Give Gallagher a free role while man marking Koren? Isn't that an oxymoron? Gallagher has been woeful this season. I know you are a Wellens basher but Abe for Wellens?? Abe is all at sea at the moment. Free when we have the ball, close down Koren (or whoever) when we lose it. Not man marking as such, just a specific task given to a player in an otherwise advanced roll. I don't expect him to mark the opposition playmaker out of the game, just make him work harder to find space, he (Koren) had loads or room second half, no one pressed at all. Gallagher has no great defensive ability and doesn't really contribute that much to the defensive side, so give him a simple task, press the opposition playmaker when they have the ball. No thinking to do, no decisions to make, just get in front of him and make it harder for him to do his job. I am not a Wellens basher, I like his fiesty combativeness and often say so. What I also say about Wellens is; 1) That our midfield is too samey, King, Oakley and Wellens are all 'bits and pieces' players, no one is effective in the anchor role, there is no real creative ability, its all a bit well....samey. 2) That in possesion he has a tendency to dwell on the ball too long, lets the opposition get into position then plays the obvious ball, not at all effective. Of the three I think King brings much more to the party than the others so he gets to play and I would partner him with more specialised players rather than more of the same. One player to play the holding role, Abe does this for Japan and looked decent (by all accounts) in the two games he started in this position against Portsmouth so I think he should be given the chance to step up. The other should be the more creative role, Gallagher for me as I feel he is one of the few players we have who can make something out of nothing, but I agree, he has to step up his game.
Master Fox Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Can't believe Steve Howard is still our first choice striker.

Ric Flair Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 We really are struggling to field a decent team tonight. Collier Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Completely forgot Dyer was out. Fuck it, slap Schlupp on the right wing.
