A group of City players will be taking part in a half-term singing session at the Walkers Stadium today.

Martyn Waghorn, Steve Howard, Matt Oakley and Yuki Abe are expected to be among the players involved in the event, which starts at 2.0 in the Great Hall.

Club historian John Hutchinson will also be there with a display of historical artefacts

Waghorn on Bass, Abe on Guitar, Oakley on Vox and Howard on Drums sounds about right

I think we need a naming competition.

Abe will be a karaoke master!!

Undoubtedly True. My mrs owns a Japanese restaurant and karaoke is so popular with the Japs that they have two designated rooms for it set aside upstairs!

One of my favourate football stories was an experience a Manure supporting friend had a few years ago at Anfield. Rio Ferdinand and John O'Shea were both injured but for whatever reason got tickets to go and watch the game wearing big coats in a lame attempt at keeping a low profile. Anyway, they got spotted pretty quickly and took a bunch of stick from the supporters. During half time the united supporters starting singing for John O to give them a song until he eventually gave in, turned round to the fans behind him and much to their surprise started singing HIS OWN SONG. Egotistical but genius.

It's in Derby.

Funnily enough I'm not actually authorised to hand out discounts. I could show you the back entrance to the kitchen though..
