carterfox90 Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Gives us a different dimension and hes always a guarantee to score against leeds agreed just for scoring against leeds not a great fan but for his leeds goals he's worth it
Koke Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Also he's a good character and a great solid pro, who our kids could learn much from. For those reasons, i'm in... Concur. Off the pitch, I usually don't buy this "footballers are role models" stuff, but Howard is a great pro and a great man with a nice character. I love Steve. I have a lot of time for him - as a player, and as a bloke.
Lichfieldfox. Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Had to keep him now he is all over the front of the foxes megastore. Big heart, great attitude, gives 100%, different dimension, defenders struggle as he wins a shed load of free kicks in dangerous areas. Yes he's getting on, yes he's slow but what you get in effort, leadership and attitude is worth so much to the club as a role model. He has earnt this and it makes business sense. I was not a fan after the relegation season and would have got rid then. In fact I would have let him go this summer and kept Kermorgant!!! Happy I was wrong and am better at my day job! Full respect to Sven who we have to trust. Delighted with Steve Howard since relegation and pleased he came good. Will not be a regular starter but fab coming off bench when defenders are tired as he can mix it up, draw a mistake and use his experience and strength Super Stevie Howard!!
Jonezy Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Another 6 points against Leeds next season sorted. Lovely.
HonradaRaposa Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Another 6 points against Leeds next season sorted. Lovely. We won't be in the same division.
Guest Bilo Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 We won't be in the same division. Optimism, pessimism or a case of Leeds-must-be-awful-if-we-out-classed-themism?
Mee Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Glad that he signed this. Always seems to put a lot of effort in. Good ol' Stevie.
Philbert Fox Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 It's such a shame I'm not Chief Executive, I've never liked Howard anyway but hes border line retirement age now, offering him a new contract is just quite simply fooking retarded, but we'll learn one day :-)

One would logically think it would be based on appearances and goals as I am sure with Sven bringing in all these players they wouldn't have handed old stevie a big money contract. But you never know
