To be fair, Sven dropped David James on numerous occasions so it's not like he was one of his favourites. I wouldn't worry just yet.

If we fail to bring rensing in then I still reckon this would be the second best alternative if weales form doesn't pick up. From what i've heard from people at the games he's been next to reckless and an experienced keeper like james with good presence and communication around the box wouldn't be a bad thing. He would almost certainly be of benefit to the likes of hobbsy as well.

I am sure that one of the reasons he signed for Bristol City is because he wanted to stay in the South of the Country so he did not have to move. I doubt that this is a goer for that reason alone.

James has looked poor for Bristol this season, I certainly wouldnt want him.

Plus he wont want to move as he only moved to Bristol in the first place as his family is down there.
