Team VS Leicester City

Just thought I'd mix things up and wondered what people think Man City's starting 11 will be against us on Sunday?

City fan here, this is complete guess work but maybe something like:

Given

Richards

Kolarov

Kompany

Lescott

A Johnson

Milner

Barry

Vieira

Dzeko, if registered in time

Jo

Really looking forward to coming down to the Walkers... never been before but it looks grand on the telly. Always had a soft spot for Leicester, I used to go to Filbert Street fairly regularly in the late seventies when I was at Uni there. Best of luck. Trust in Svennis.

Cheers, you can come again.

So basically the fringe players, eh? Actually, I think you're right.

I'd expect Barry and Kompany to be rested. Boyata and another in? Or wishful thinking?

Hopefully Wayne Bridge plays and his missus sits next to me.

It's hard to know what team Berto will put out, but after the Carling Cup debacle at West Brom I expect it to be a decent side, though I doubt Tevez and Silva will be involved. Wouldn't surprise me if Vassell scored tbh.

Mancini said the other day that he would not be resting Tevez. I think their next league game isn't til the 15th so there is no reason at all for us to assume that he will field a weakened team. If anything he might want the first teamers to play to keep their match fitness/sharpness up.

I would be very surprised if Tevez is involved - may be on the bench I suppose. He's been carrying a hamstring strain recently and would benefit from a rest. I fully expect Jo (useless) to start.

If vassell scores we win. FACT.

Obviously I'm not a Manc, but I'm expecting something like this from City:

Given

Richards --- Kompany --- Lescott --- Kolarov

Milner --- Vieira --- Barry --- Johnson

Dzeko --- Jo

Can't really see anything else to be honest. Bridge is probably on his way to Villa, Tevez will be rested, Balotelli is injured, Adebayor is out in the cold and De Jong will probably be set aside for Vieira for this one. I can't see them wanting to go too much weaker in terms of bringing youth in etc.

Hoping Dzeko can start. Was my star signing for Leics in FM10 in 2015 and scored an offensive amount on his way to becoming club legend :P

Bamba V Tevez could be interesting as well!

Dzeko definitely not playing as still waiting for visa. If Jo plays you def have a chance ... he's brownshoe.

That blows. Let's have the first team then, see what they're made of! :scarf:

Their striker Dzeko signed for them too late to enable him to play against us. I guess that's one thing less to worry about
