Flares?

Right i dunno if this has been mentioned before or not but.....

are these illegal at grounds? And if used properly what do u think about them?

Unless you are landing jumbo jets running out of fuel above Dulles airport due to a terrorist incident, I think you are better off leaving them at home.

I swear Preston are one of the clubs that searches you before you go into the ground :dunno:

If you're planning on bringing a flare I wouldn't bother risking a ban for trying to bring it in the ground.

They're legal. Take one to Man City would be quality.

This is very correct!

Andy King said we need to be the 12th man on Tuesday and the best way to do it would be through the use of flares.

Well the Ayr fans brought one to Easter Road and lit it after about 30mins and i counted at least 5 people getting arrested/booted in that single incident. So waste of money unless you light it late on.

They are a prohibited item and anyone caught with one or lighting one would face a long ban.

As part of a display they look fantastic but unfortunately against the rules in this country at any designated football match.

Your choice if you wish to take the risk.

If they were legal you would see them in SK1 every match.

Fvcking stupid in this day and age. I mean, who was the disabled that lit a flare at Palace, the ground with wood EVERYWHERE, and then dropped it....?

Yea I remember, and then all that fire everywhere!! Wait...

Flares should be allowed into football matches before women and boys under-18.

Absolutely fvcking class but, like the best things illegal at football. Only chance you've got of getting away with it is if you know who's around you and that they won't do you in as has happened with the 'Boro fans who set off a flare at Burton Albion. Also, you'd need to light it, drop it and get the fvck out of there. Unless they can pin it on a particular person for certain, the stewards or police can't do a thing. Both times they were set off in our end last year nobody was harmed and pretty sure nothing was damage besides perhaps somebodies wallet.

He could put it up his bum?

I dunno how big a flare is :dunno:

flares ?

most fans would squeal like a stuck pig if someone lit a cigarette up :D

Hence why they aren't used often, the chance of someone turning you in far outweighs the rewards in most circumstances.

think we'll have to give it a miss then! Wanted to do somthing special for the night

Do something special then, cause if you were going to take a flare, your night wouldn't last very long.

How'd you figure that out, neither culprit from both last years flares were chucked out.
