Trav Le Bleu Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 So I've got ESPN, but I'm going to miss most of Tuesday's match and I'm Sky+ing it. Which makes me ask this question if anyone knows. I've got the match set to record using the schedule... but what if the match goes to extra-time and, heaven forbid, penalties? Does the Sky+ box stop recording when the program was scheduled to finish, or does the box recieve somekind of signal at the end of programme to tell it to stop recording? I've noticed that I frequently have the start of the previous programme on anything I record, but I've never missed the end. But then again, this is the first time I've recorded somrthing live. Basically, can I rely on the schedule or wouyld I be better manually programming it?
Jackirius Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Record the scheduled program after it as well. Should do the job.

lildave3 Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Never thought I'd say this, but you're a genius! (so embarressed I didn't think of that! ) I record a lot of stuff off of ESPN, and this is exactly what I do. Can't see it going to ET and pens though!

Matt Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Can't be doing with the bias of ESPN's commentary/presenters.
DB11 Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 No, what will make you tired is my random detour to Blackpool on the way home. Well the random detouring was correct
