iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Don't know if everyone has heard this sad news. 14 ?! No age to go and especially by a knife at football. RIP. Thoughts are with the family.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 R.I.P. Anyone got a link to a news report or something?
Uncle Phil Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 R.I.P Where did you hear that?? I can't find anything on it.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 16 January 2011 Author Posted 16 January 2011 R.I.P. Anyone got a link to a news report or something? Haven't got a source. Seen posts on other forums etc. Have no idea wether it was related to the trouble that broke out.
Fosse Boy Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Can't find a link to any news articles anywhere. Hopefully it's just a rumour.
samlcfc Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 apparently its just a rumour, comfirmed by the police that no stabbing took place
ScouseFox Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 It's all just rumours I heard. There was a bit of agro in the pub, but nobody has been reported as stabbed or dead apparently.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Liverpool Echo All blown out of proportion.
accessory Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Liverpool fans celebrated an 80s revival at Anfield before the derby. But this would have taken it way too far..
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 17 January 2011 Author Posted 17 January 2011 In that case, sorry about the misleading post. Seemed to be a lot of rumours though would have thought there would have been something behind it. But thankfully its not true .
Kent Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 I heard the announcement near the end of the game saying "there has been a police incident, some junction on anfield road has been closed please find an alternative route." Not saying someone got stabbed, but something kicked off.
StanSP Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Some people got bottled and glassed at a pub nearby. I don't think any people were seriously injured either apparently. Nothing life-threatening although a friend told me the same story about an Evertonian being stabbed and dying.
