Guest BlueBrett Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Good lively game so far. I fancy Birmingham to turn it around.
fatmando Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Yeah, hope there is some goals. Has any club won the league cup and been relegated in the same season?
Guest BlueBrett Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 I couldn't tell you mate. Not much of a stats man. You'd expect Arsenal to blow either of these two away anyway. I suppose you never know what will happen at Wembley though.
fatmando Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Yeah there is the tiny hurdle of Arsenal in the final. Ha. Scotty Parkers a well decent player.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Came to him from throw in and he turned without touching it and just smashed it first time. It bent round just inside the far post. must have been about 30yards. I still think he's rubbish though
Jimothy Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Who knew Carlton Cole could do that?! I don't think Carlton Cole knew he could do that.
lcfcsnow Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Birmingham are awful under McGleish. Hopefully Davies does end up there, because they're going nowhere whereas we are.
Mee Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Great strike by Cole. Really hope West Ham win this.
CupidStunt Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Can someone tell me how come Wayne Bridge is playing for the Hammers in the League Cup, after he signed on Loan? I know its a different cup, but the Yak wasn't allowed to play according to FA rules because he wasnt registered with LCFC before it all started? different rules?
Jimothy Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Can someone tell me how come Wayne Bridge is playing for the Hammers in the League Cup, after he signed on Loan? I know its a different cup, but the Yak wasn't allowed to play according to FA rules because he wasnt registered with LCFC before it all started? different rules? The Yak missed out because he wasn't registered before the first 3rd round match. He would have been available for the 4th round had we gone through. This isn't a replay and Bridge isn't cup tied so he's allowed to play.
fatmando Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Been reading last ten minutes or so but yeah looks like the brummies are looking the more likely to win this now. So nearly a third by Jerome aswell.
ScouseFox Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Craig Gardner off the post again. Credit Rob Green for touching it, top save.
DB11 Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Do away goals count in the Carling Cup? Commentator just said so
