"Sol Bamba at the back has really impressed me. He’s dominant in the air, but also has a bit of pace to get himself out of trouble, and he looks pretty comfortable on the ball too. Then you’ve got his goals. It’s three in four for the big man and we’ve not looked this dangerous from set pieces since we had the likes of Matt Elliott and Tags attacking the ball.

"The Sol man is already a cult hero with the Blue Army and it’s easy to see why, with his goals, bravery in the air and the way he plays the game with a smile on his face. For Sven to sign him for £250,000 looks an absolute snip and I can see him going on to become a real City legend if he carries on like this."
