They must have the ok from the stadium or they wouldn't be able to do it, I cant see wembley being so open especially when you read of stewards taking flags off little kids.

They have to go to the club and then the club go the police and the stadium. Celtic's got the ok for yesterday and the Green Brigade are big and do a lot of these type of things all the time. Rangers have a few smaller groups who united to try and get a balloon display going but it wasn't allowed due to the risk of balloons on the pitch and surprisingly the fact that Hampden is on the flight path to Glasgow airport and that they would be a problem for air traffic control. Not sure how balloons would damage a plane.

Completely agree, all wankers to a man. I can only assume the lad with the raspy voice in the second video is on a day trip with his carer.

There again, are Rangers much better?

Rangers fans don't help themselves with that, but it's not a nazi salute it's a red hand of Ulster thing.

The Huns groups aren't even worth mentioning so don't bother.

Is using what have become religious slurs really appropriate? I mean come on mate there's no need for that, we don't need that on a Leicester forum.

Valid, I just don't like calling them there official name and to be fair, I've came close too calling them that in this thread before I just couldn't be bothered sugar-coating it this time. My point still stands about there groups being shit though.

It's a cultural slur, it's a political slur and it does enforce the sectarian ethos but it's hardly "a religious slur." Nor is it, really, the most offensive thing in the whole world ever.

And I'm sorry, that "Ulster Salute" stuff is absolute rubbish, it's a myth. It's a far-right, fascist, Nazi Salute done by the far-right, fascist, neo-Nazi element of Rangers' hardline support.

I'm not saying every Rangers fan is like that but it is a disturbingly large minority and they've been doing it for decades.

Edit: And once more, no, I'm not a "Celtic Fan."

Beat me to it Sosban.

This Red Hand excuse is utter cock. It's a fascist salute and that's it.

The context of that particular photo makes it a sight worse.

That's not to say Celtic are devoid of wankers like, because I'm hardly a Celtic fan myself. Just have a soft spot for them because of the Green Brigade and the links with well respected former City players.

We win when it matters.

And 'weasel', **** off with your silly 'hun' insults. You're pathetic, typical celtic fan, you lost, so you feel the need to throw remarks like that about.

WE ARE THE PEOPLE !

First off, I'm not a Celtic fan, a Leicester one. Secondly, I can guarantee that you've called someone a 'fenian bastard' before or tried to call a Celtic fan a 'tim' or a 'taig' which I here is getting used more often now so don't come around telling me not to call anyone anything.

First I've heard of it.

Perhaps he's just a complete simpleton?

You won't catch anyone in Ulster doing that salute unless they have some rather 'right wing' leanings, and you definitely won't catch anyone in the 3 counties of Ulster that are in the republic doing that salute.

I am not saying there are not stupid people naively copying it. But there is no such thing as an Ulster Salue, that phrase means nothing.

It's a fascist salute and Rangers hooligans have been doing it with the Headhunters since the 80s.

Erm i'm not an expert on the matter, so excuse any ignorance, but am I the only person who kinda noticed the geezer/ old woman with the israel flag giving this supposed fascist salute?

I wouldn't look too much into it as Israeli flags are hoisted all over NI in loyalist areas partly in support of their govt but mainly because in nationalist areas there is a huge pro palestinian movement. Sad, isn't it?
