JamesSD Posted 7 February 2011 Posted 7 February 2011 Anyone watch it yesterday and if so were you impressed by any players in particular?
StanSP Posted 7 February 2011 Posted 7 February 2011 I did watch. Jamie Ness' goal was superb. Scott Brown's was good too. Also loved the latter's celebration in front of Diouf. Was a pretty good game!

lcfc"weasel" Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 Cracking Old Firm game yesterday, especially with Celtic being able to dominate with only 10 men. No players really stood out for me, besides I guess Ness and Brown but only because they both scored. Wilson was probably the best performer for me after the two who scored good goals along with Mulgrew. Castle greyskull didn't seem to generate as good an atmosphere as Parkhead seemed to when I was there though which I was slightly disappointed with as I thought it might be slightly better due to it being the older of the two grounds.
Finnegan Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 It really pains me that I know this... but you know that Castle Greyskull is where the goodguys lived, right? So not only is it the most spectacularly cringeworthy and nerdy "derogatory" nickname ever given, it's also accidently complimentary?
lcfc"weasel" Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 Never knew that, it's what my Celtic relatives call it, I'll let them know.
Finnegan Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 http://www.talkceltic.net/forum/scottish-football/93328-stop-calling-ibrox-castle-greyskull.html There you go. Seems like they aren't all retarded.
Ross-Kemp Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 Celshit were the better team throughout, replay will be tough at their place. 7 times we'll play each other, new record
Simmo86 Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 Slightly pissed Rangers didn't win, should of with the 1 man advantage. Duno what Scott Brown was playing at, he's a horrible **** just like Diouf!
The Doctor Posted 11 February 2011 Posted 11 February 2011 Slightly pissed Rangers didn't win, should of with the 1 man advantage. Duno what Scott Brown was playing at, he's a horrible **** just like Diouf! maybe because celtic are much better than rangers? Scott Brown is a far better person than Diouf.
ScouseFox Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 I love the Old Firm. 3 red cards, coaching staff/managers scrapping, about 10 yellows to Rangers, and Celtic win. Great to watch, top fans all round aswell.

Great to watch, top fans all round aswell. Absolutely, nothing else like it in England. Unfortunately. I love how the foreign players get wrapped up in the whole atmosphere and occassion.

ScouseFox Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 - two wasn't it (whittiker & bougherra). Diouf got shown a second yellow for having a go after full time aswell apparently, meaning he was shown red. He's such a cunt.
The Doctor Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 Diouf got shown a second yellow for having a go after full time aswell apparently, meaning he was shown red. He's such a **** . missed that. completely agree, diouf is a ****, horrible person.
Vacamion Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 Recent research linked old firm games to domestic violence. Every red card = 50 more glaswegian women with black eyes tomorrow. Perhaps they should remind the players of this. I really feel sorry for Strathclyde Police tonight...
ScouseFox Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 missed that. completely agree, diouf is a ****, horrible person. He just goes around looking for an argument or a fight. There's nobody in that Celtic team, staff or an official he didn't have a go at today. Just stick to playing football, I reckon he's not actually that bad a player.
FoxyPV Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 Scott Brown could go round stabbing pregnant women and still be a better human being than Diouf. My cousin's a doctor in Glasgow A+E and she was looking forward to her last night shift for a while until she found out there was an Old Firm game tonight
Vacamion Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 Evening game, so plenty of people would have been on the booze all afternoon. They should play the next one at 9.00am.
CKB Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 They should play the next one at 9.00am. Wouldn't make any difference, they would be drinking from the night before instead! -------- As for the game, wasn't that abit tasty as always! Diouf is such a scummy bastard, he's not even good to make up for his scummyness! I feel sorry for any team who has that tosser in it
purpleronnie Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 True, its not like man u v liverpool where an early kickoff can kill any atmosphere its a different world. I remember charlie nicolas saying the spurs v arsenal derby game was like kindergarten compared to the OF. Although its been many years since I've been to an OF game, I've not really experienced anything like it since, even Houston v Dallas wasn't as good.
cambridgefox Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 i would love to know what was said with Lennon and mcoist.Lennon was going to rip his head off.
