King Cal Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 Jeffrey Schlupp in the squad for tomorrow's game, suppose to be very promising young talent! Nice touch and extremely pleased that Sven is paying attention to our excellent Academy. Hopefully he'll come of the bench and score the winner!
LCFC94 Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 About time, seen him play for the academy and he looks a great talent, exciting future ahead hopefully!
North-LondonFox Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 good post pal - come on jeff, prove us all right mate.
MattyFromLE Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 Really hope this lad comes good! But, i hope he isn't taking Waggy's place on the bench!
ajthefox Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 haven't seen him play but it's great to see Sven put him in the squad. Shows Sven is thinking long term, keeping an eye on the youngsters and it should give him some confidence knowing Sven thought he could be moved up.
Bugg Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 If Schlupp doesn't show his quality in his first ever game, the boo boys will be out in force.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 If Schlupp doesn't show his quality in his first ever game, the boo boys will be out in force. like for Ricardo
Bugg Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 like for Ricardo well not really because Schlupp will have never played a game outside of u18s. Whereas, Ricardo has
Howard9 Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 Good - The lad is a promising prospect hopefully proves critics wrong tomoz. He has been often criticized that he gets bullied of the ball to easily but from what i've seen Hes a fast little ****er
TuptonFox Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 excellent news. never seen him play myself but sounds like a great prospect & I've heard he's got skill & pace, should fit in well!
CKB Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 I hope he comes on tomorrow, what better game? I wanna see him schlupp the QPR defence up!
Ric Flair Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 No better place to throw him in to the mix in my eyes, a goal or an assist from him and it would have him walking on cloud 9. We are lacking a little bit of spark right now and a new kid on the scene might kick start us. But no pressure, hey? Haha
davieG Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 If Schlupp doesn't show his quality in his first ever game, the boo boys will be out in force. Well he is German
Thracian Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 It's hard to imagine Schlupp letting anyone down if he does get a chance. And Sven's in a potential win/win situation using this match to give him experience. Even if he stays on the bench all game he'll be witnessing the best the division has to offer. If he plays and makes the right impression he'll know that he can cope and the confidence he gains might be invaluable. I wish him well and have long believed he's our best prospect. What impresses me is Sven's willingness to give him a chance so soon.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 well not really because Schlupp will have never played a game outside of u18s. Whereas, Ricardo has joking mate, hence the
