Ambitious Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 You don't choose who you sell your players to. You get that, right? Course you can, if the Raksriaksorns got two offers for one of our players, they could easily accept one and reject the other.

Yeah if we got one from Leeds and one from Real Valladolid then maybe. I think an alternative offer from a foreign club on every player we sell is rather unlikely, especially as we're a mid-table Championship club.
Bugg Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 Don't forget that players have personal terms to agree. Some might not want to play second tier Spanish football and would rather stay in the country they're at now.

Teams will sell players they don't want to anyone who does want them.. English or foreign.. Does anyone really think that we let gradel go to Leeds whilst thinking for one moment that he could become very good and that Leeds would be promotion rivals?
paddy Agyemang Posted 7 April 2011 Posted 7 April 2011 3 player should have never left city and 2 left under pearson which was a surpise i was gutted about gradel he was my favourite player and we all knew he was a special player but pearson sold him for pocket money
hackneyfox Posted 7 April 2011 Posted 7 April 2011 You think Hume should have stayed with us? He helped get us relegated.

I said that a player has to agree personal terms. He can't go unless he signs on the dotted line can he not? I remember N'Zogbia doing it with Birmingham this season.
Wymsey Posted 7 April 2011 Posted 7 April 2011 Hume left before Pearson was in charge did he not? Left in 2008. He left under Holloway then? Very sure he did if we would have stayed up, he wouldn't choose Barnsley over us... I think i answered my own question here. XD
