Filbert, who has been an ever present at Filbert Way this season, has played a huge part City's impressive home form under Sven-Goran Eriksson. But the fans' favourite, who is desperate to play his part in the crucial fixture against the Clarest, will now face a late fitness test ahead of kick-off. Filbert's injury, a fractured metatarsal and mild concussion, was said to be sustained whilst practising goal celebrations in the build-up to the visit of Eddie Howe's Clarets. Get well soon Filbert.

Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Didn't surprise me one bit to see him covered in bandages yesterday. Heard he got chucked out of Liquid on friday night. Apparently it was Cousin Dennis' stag do & all the mascots had turned out for it. Filbert had knocked back a couple too many sambucas & started getting a bit lairy on the dancefloor. He ended up having a bit of argy bargy outside with Cyril the Swan (Swansea mascot), who's a real nasty piece of work & by all accounts he came off worst. Don't think Vicky was too pleased having to fetch him from A&E at 5am either. The training ground story was just an attempted cover up by the club to try & keep it out of the tabloids.
