It probably did him a favour playing for a shite international team because all those summers he had off have translated into an additional 10 years at the very top! Still, my grandfather was from northern Ireland and if given the chance I would not put on that shirt because I an English. It's just different opinions for different people really. At least footie isn't as bad as rugby or cricket. We had an American playing prop in the 6 nations. And Thomas Waldron who has came to tigers this year and was told he could play for England after 3 years residency (he's an all black) has actually found it his grandad was English and could play for England now if selected! In cricket we have south Africans galore. Anyway, if a good offer came in I do feel we could see King leave. And if it meant sorting out 2 decent midfielders with the money for king I would be game. Look at Liverpool with Carroll and Suarez. In the time being, maybe a rest against reading would be a good thing.
