Guest Col city fan Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 Sorry Not a problem.. I've found myself agreeing more and more recently.. It's a worry!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 "It's difficult to understand why because we didn't have a lot of injuries..." Not really difficult to understand, Sven. You constantly changed the back four/goalkeeper, irrelevant of form and performances. A constantly changing defence with an average of around 20-22. Plus, our worst defensive performers (Bruma and Van Aanholt) were picked almost every week ahead of our best defensive performers (Mee and Vitor). It seems crystal clear to me.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 Perhaps you should be our manager then, as everything is so "crystal clear"
ajthefox Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 13 CB pairings all season. Injuries or not that's a ridiculous number. Then couple that with the chopping and changing of goalkeepers, neither of whom did particularly well and an inexperienced backline. Doesn't take a genius to work out why we shipped so many.
Smudge Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 If we were improving towards the end of the season, I could follow his logic but we weren't. 2 clean sheets from the beginning of March.
