leicesterisme Posted 5 June 2011 Posted 5 June 2011 Can't say I've seen the lad play before but I am aware of Crewe's excellent youth system so he could be quite a talent.
FowFTW Posted 5 June 2011 Posted 5 June 2011 Well with Forest and Swansea after him who I feel already have quality midfielders, must mean he is worth buying unless they are just after him as a young prospect.

FowFTW Posted 5 June 2011 Posted 5 June 2011 He's a defender . On here, he is described as midfielder and on his wiki page it says midfielder/defender but mainly described as midfielder. http://www.crewealex.net/page/ProfilesDetail/0,,10414~44757,00.html Full back / Midfielder.
CosbehFox Posted 5 June 2011 Posted 5 June 2011 Broke through as a full-back, now plays central midfielder. Decent player. Vice-captain at Crewe.
FowFTW Posted 5 June 2011 Posted 5 June 2011 Guess he would be a potentially good signing as we don't have many midfielders in our side and the only backup player we have is Oakley so I guess it would be good for rotation and competition.
Bettsj2 Posted 5 June 2011 Posted 5 June 2011 same as moussa near enouugh?? No harm in having two young midfielders to develop.
deep blue Posted 5 June 2011 Posted 5 June 2011 Got this from a Crewe supporter friend. "Typical Crewe midfielder, small and skillful. Looked really good in 09/10 (first season) but didn't quite live up to it this season. I don't think he's ready to move yet, but I could be wrong. Funnily enough, the last few matches we had two players called Ashley Westwood, the other one being a centre-half who played for us in about 96-98 and came back! No relation apparently." Maybe this explains the confusion about his position. I guess we'll be going for the young midfielder.
