The Yak NO, M. King NO, We might make a bid for Maynard, Nugent, talks not advanced stage. Kamera NO, Burma NO, Not one thing that I read was positive!!! Then I look at West Ham & Brum, Who are now making some cracking signings while we have made ((((((((0)))))))))) Not about being patient its about signing some good players before theres just left overs to pick through. Pissed off.

stivesfox Posted 16 June 2011 Posted 16 June 2011 I think there are many players who would sign for Leicester City, and wouldn't surprise me if deals were already done and being kept under wraps. Thank fully Marlon King won't be coming as would have caused problems on terraces and the club by it's own token probably shied away. Yakubu head is obviously being turned by someone else, typically told us all what we wanted to hear to get of Leicester without the abuse he would have been given, where I feel he would have bagged 20 goals for us if he isn't committed then we should walk away, be him left to rot in Everton reserves. Heskey linked to us and had Houllier stayed I feel that deal would have been done at 33 hoping new Villa management might give him his last chance to shine. I think personally we are looking to shift the dead wood quickly come June the 1st many new players be coming through the door. Has been rather boring since we played Ipswich no activity in, I think Eriksson is looking to do the deal at the right time at the right price wages and transfer fees. Showing your hand too early can lead to inflated costs. I for one wouldnt be surprised to see an old head Viera or Campbell now the premier league released list has come out today some big names available. Patience the name of the game!!!

New players need time to gel before we murder the cov scum. I optimistic at the minute. time will tell. Sven knows what he is doin, i trust him implicitly.

'in sven we trust', 'the Sven revolution' to name but two were consistently saying that we cannot judge sven until he 'has a pre season' to assemble his squad and to work with them. I agree and here is the nub of the matter... I think Sven will attract players but, as important, is the time needed to gel them and to settle them in. Allardyce has done this with Nolan.. Got him, made him captain and will build his side around him. This is the right thing to do and I hope Sven gives himself the time needed to settle his new squad.
