Alf Bentley Posted 1 July 2011 Posted 1 July 2011 I was interested to hear that Yann Kermorgant has now returned from his season on loan in France. So, this morning, I popped down to the training ground to wish him well and ask him about his plans. He said his first task was to meet Chairman Milan Mandaric and Chief Exec Lee Hoos to discuss renewing his contract. He was then hoping to chat to Manager Nigel Pearson about his role in the squad. He sees himself playing centre midfield alongside captain Matt Oakley, playing through balls for Matty Fryatt and Steve Howard, and wingers Dyer and N'Guessan. He also sees himself with a role as defensive shield in front of Morrison, Hobbs, Brown and Berner. I asked how he'd been spending his spare time and, surprisingly, he said he'd got into reading children's fairy tales. He particularly likes that one about Rip Van Winkle, the man who goes to sleep for 20 years, then wakes up and finds that everything and everyone has changed....
accessory Posted 1 July 2011 Posted 1 July 2011 I think the comedy value of this thread got a little lost in translation..
Night Air Posted 1 July 2011 Posted 1 July 2011 I found it funny! It is true that our entire team has changed since he was last here aswell as the board!
