Sven's plan is to bring him in to help develop our younger talent for a short time during MLS out season, this will also allow him to prove his fitness for team GB. However becks is still undecided? Very much doubt it will happen though. almost 100% sure he wont be playing on the pitch.

So on a scale of 1 - 10 of good news(only) 1 being they've dropped the drinks prices on the LCFC chocolate teapots in the shop and 10 being Messi has considered LCFC to be his 2nd team and plans on finishing his career in blue, where would we be on this morsel of news?

From what I know, i would say its a 6 in that he may well (nothing confirmed) be playing a part for us next season at some point.

Incontenence is a dreadfull thing If Beckham wanted a coaching role for a few months, and train with players and even get a game he could walk into the Spurs setup and other top clubs in Italy & Spain - why would he come here - get real. I'd love it but lets face it we can't get Maynard it's unlikely that a man who has enough self efficacy to do what ever he wants in football would take a room in the Marriot Hotel for six months rather than hob nobbling with Wills Kate and Stephen Fry like he was yesterday in LA. Bit of perspective required here before we get to 130 pages of this nonsense too.
