shen Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 By now I expect surprises from you, so it's not surprising when you meet my expectations I liked most of it actually, especially T:B:D and How To Destroy Angels (very NiN-chy) tracks. Have played them several times now and very much up my street (you probably suspected that). I didn't like The Knife... something about her voice just makes me uneasy and irritated. Apart from Silent Shout I've not liked a song by them. Eskmo track was quirky, bit unsure on the vocals but music was interesting. The Zola Jesus and Crystal Castles tracks left me a bit meh, and the jury is still out on the rest.

The Doctor Posted 4 August 2011 Posted 4 August 2011 Think:Breathe:Destroy - Not bad, decent enough tune Celestica - Never really like Crystal Castles & this track does little to change that The Space in Between - Not bad, but not something I'd listen to again. One for You - Vocals are poor, not all that good. Cloudlight - Really not sure on this one, quirky but average. Matter of Time - Quick laid-back, good track. Marian - average track, the vocalists voice grates a bit though. John Wayne Gacy, jr. - hmm, sounds OK but nothing special Start/Stop/Synchro - A good song, but not really my thing. Run Me Out - Very boring, I'm a bit of an insomniac but this had me drifting off.
