Earthquake in Virginia

Recommended Posts

I moved here in 1992 from California and thought I'd left the earthquakes behind. Just felt a 5.8, 0nly a 130 mile away in Mineral VA.

Just to add to the misery, we're expecting hurricane Irene to come barreling through here at the weekend :(

batten down the hatches smudge, good luck

it's been a bit drizzly and overcast here too so , we're suffering as well

My brother called me up to let us know he's alright.

He lives in Norfolk which is about 100 miles away from the epicentre.

Crazy stuff for the East Coast. I bet Cali folk are laughing though.

5.8! I wouldn't get out of bed or anything less than a 7.

I'm missing Hurricane Irene by 7 hours I think. Leaving from Miami at 5:35 on Thursday. Worst of it meant to hit Miami early Friday morning. Only left NY last week as well so missed the Earthquake there narrowly.

Hoping everyone is alright who has been affected though.

it's all self self self with some people

the paper cut is healing thank you , but it's still very sore to pick up pint glasses so i do feel a little like the biblical Job .
