The Doctor Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 While tidying up yesterday I found my old collection of Goon Show tapes & CD's - I've copied the CD's to my computer and want to do the same with the cassette tapes - Is there any sort of drive out there that would allow me to do that?

The Doctor Posted 2 September 2011 Author Posted 2 September 2011 Found a download for the episodes I had on tape. "Why is that gas stove wearing a hat?" "He's going out."

Trav Le Bleu Posted 2 September 2011 Posted 2 September 2011 Buy it Al and when you're done, I'll buy it off you for £10. Got loads of old comedy tapes I'd love to have on PC.

I have a load of lp's I'd like to put on cd, but as you stated once this has been done the expensive equipment becomes redundant
Fox92 Posted 6 September 2011 Posted 6 September 2011 I'll bang this in this topic. But does anyone know if VHS to Computer works? I've looked on eBay, they do have them, but how do they work?
CupidStunt Posted 6 September 2011 Posted 6 September 2011 If you have an old tape player, or record player its a piece of piss, you dont need to spend any money on those things, just a phono to 3.5mm jack plug adaptor is needed, and possibly a little pre-amp if you havent got an amplifier, but most people have these with a hi-fi Sound is fed in through the soundcard software is free also
The Doctor Posted 6 September 2011 Author Posted 6 September 2011 Buy it Al and when you're done, I'll buy it off you for £10. Got loads of old comedy tapes I'd love to have on PC. Got it sorted with oz's suggestion. and I wouldn't sell for £10, at least £35 payable in pictures of gorillas.
