It's wouldn't and never really was like that because the window is what brings on such behaviour because the clubs have a deadline.

It should never really have been changed in the first place in my opinion.

i seem to remember when it was first reported by us or the mercury or something that it was less than £3mil. Then loads of reports came in saying it was 4-4.5

obviously the fee could rise if clauses come into effect.
