accessory Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 24128 not bad! From the Kop (which had more empty spaces than I've seen since our League 1 days), it looked rather less than that.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 From the Kop (which had more empty spaces than I've seen since our League 1 days), it looked rather less than that. As full as it's been all season in SK1.
Kitchandro Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 Eh? I was replying to a post which made mention of 'our baffling ticket prices'. So comparisons were surely valid.... Anyway, as you say, I think our home crowds are fine. Most clus in this league are already down on crowds from last year No because they are both baffling here and at other clubs. Just because they are more expensive at quite a few other places, doesn't mean they are cheap here. It's more to do with what people can afford than comparisons. We are not in competition with other clubs because the locals of Leicester will almost certainly either go and watch Leicester or no one, certainly in the Championship anyway. Most people who I know who come down to the football now and again have been put off by our prices this season, and I think that's the reason they have been/will continue to be low, though yesterdays was very decent.
ajthefox Posted 18 September 2011 Posted 18 September 2011 From the Kop (which had more empty spaces than I've seen since our League 1 days), it looked rather less than that. Think thats quite an exaggeration there. From the back row of SK2 it was no less full than any other recent game I care to remember. I actually thought further towards the corners looked fairly busy, particular on the East side of the ground. Brighton brought a decent following too.
