wellyfox Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 This is gonna result in alot of stick I'm sure but who is jari rantanen? 70's or very early 80's finish guy built like a heavy weight boxer with the skill of a house brick. Was fookin crap
Mac Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Good to see so many shouts for Pontus Kaarmark. For me one the best full backs to ever pull on a City shirt! Put little Juninho in his pocket in the cup final. Zagorakis captaining the Greeks to Euro2004 victory puts him up there with the best too!
Donut Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 The three standout foreign players are Kaamark, Zagorakis and Keller without doubt Worst foreginer who actually had a long enough run in the side- theres a few competing for that ''honour''................probably Moreno. Utter crap.

Utter crap. I'd argue that moreno was better than the mighty Fin Jari Ratanan.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Worst: Luigi Glombard, the best Mancini Horribly right.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Arnar Gunnlaugsson - wouldn't class him as one of the worst but for me is never one of the best. I remember being delighted when we signed him from Bolton but he never really cemented his place in the team and was largely inconsistent. Michael Lamey definitely was shite. Awful, awful player. I met a Wisla supporter yesterday and he was saying how bad Lamey is!
Tielemans63 Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Remember Joe Hammill - winger Levein (who else?) signed from Hearts? He was pretty pish.
HitchinFox Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 70's or very early 80's finish guy built like a heavy weight boxer with the skill of a house brick. Was fookin crap Sacrilege!! The blond destroyer and mighty Finn is a legend. A bit like Rooster Russell. In fact I just checked and their games per goal ratio is exactly the same. Not having that. Remember the defenders we had in the late 1980s. Most of them made Raoul Moat look like a skinny lad with impeccable manners, so we needed a brute of a bastard to counter them.
