Irony,

England never lost a match the Heskey played in

Falsity.

England 2-3 Romania (Euro 2000). Heskey on as a sub.

England 1-2 Brazil (WC 2002).

England 1-2 France (Euro 2004). Heskey on as sub.

How unfunny. Tragic videos.

Love Emile so much.

Wouldn't worry about it mate.

Emile can sit back at the end of his career looking at his six cup winners medals and a play off medal too along with his England caps.

Hope he aint on about leaving it too

Late. There will be plenty better options

In a years time if we're in the premier.

Come home Emile you know it makes sense.

Really wanted Heskey to come back in the summer, and Sven was obviously putting the feelers out for it. Now I'm not bothered either way.

If Heskey wanted to come back the summer was the perfect time: we were crying out for a striker, the Thais were willing to put the money there, Sven was in charge, he had the opportunity to help his club to the Prem. I don't want Heskey coming back when he's decided that he can't get a Premiership move any more. Yes his return would be very romantic but he still needs to be able to offer something if/when he does return.

I don't see how him coming in the summer would have been a bad deal for either party.
