Chairman of the Bored Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 The Purple One returns with a treatise on occupy everything. Never mind Pearson, this man should be our new manager. Guru extraordinaire.
jonno24 Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 I got completely the wrong idea when i read the description
Zingari Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 i always enjoy a good rant like that . Is he the purple one ? i thought he was more turquoise inclined , but i get easily confused these days personally i'd sooner listen to old bullhorn alex jones though
somebum Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 I know he gets a rough ride in the press, but I have listened to a lot of David Icke and whilst some of his theories I cannot accept, he comes across to me as a very intelligent, quick witted and articulate guy. He was on TV last night actually on one of the Sky channels... great snippets therein: "These guys are not to be trusted and wouldn't know the truth if it bit them on the arse"
breadandcheese Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 This is such utter guff and displays such a lack of economic understanding it becomes unwatchable. The problem with people like David Icke is that the argument sounds so simple and logical. As a result, people listen and believe. It's the same as all those people who believe the logic of "throw the foreigners our of the country and then we can give their jobs to our 'own' people." Its sounds simple, plausible and believable. It is however completely false, starting with incorrect assumptions, ignoring the complexities that actually make incorrect. In short, it's a load of inaccurate rubbish.

somebum Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Coming from the man who thinks that the royal family are shape changing lizards. Never been wrong in your life then?
foxoffderby Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 He was a sports presenter remember him in the 80's on the BBC or ITV. Hes been ripped to bits by the common press. Some of his theories are complete fantasy, but some of them well you might say I can see were he's coming from and are a good read.
Wycombe Fox Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 He lives around the corner from me but I've never had a chat with him. I know his sons fairly well. All decent people.
Webbo Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Never been wrong in your life then? If Carlsberg did wrong.....
Chairman of the Bored Posted 16 November 2011 Author Posted 16 November 2011 The Purple One went to Crown Hills school and was actually bezzie mates with a sadly departed old friend of mine. Utter stuff and nonsense of course, but good to see a Leicester lad in the news, even if it is talking bollox on you tube.
