Ricey Posted 27 June 2005 Posted 27 June 2005 This rounds task is to create a poster to advertise Leicester City's up and coming friendly game against Inter Milan at the Walkers Stadium. The poster must be 600x800 in size and must be sent to me in JPG format. You have total freedom as to what goes on the poster aslong as it is your own work. Normal rules apply. All entries are to be PM'd to me by Monday 4th July at 8:00pm. Enjoy.
City Fan Posted 27 June 2005 Posted 27 June 2005 Like the sound of this one. I imagine either you or Anish will win seeing as you are both excellent at creating Leicester City graphics!
Hitesh Posted 27 June 2005 Posted 27 June 2005 Might have a go at this one...aint got anything else to do.
Anish Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 Like the sound of this one. I imagine either you or Anish will win seeing as you are both excellent at creating Leicester City graphics! 128606 Thanks for the compliment, but I'll have to find the time to make the graphic, which isn't always easy.
Libertine Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 Has anyone got any good pics of Inters badge? Cos I can't seem to find any...I know this is classed as helping me but....
City Fan Posted 3 July 2005 Posted 3 July 2005 Less than a day to complete you're entries. I suppose I had better start mine sometime! <_<
Ricey Posted 3 July 2005 Author Posted 3 July 2005 I haven't had a great deal of entries so far so if you considering entrying then please do as you stand a good chance of getting points.
Hitesh Posted 3 July 2005 Posted 3 July 2005 Fech...totally forgot. I have loads of images for it and a litle outline. Ill try and get it done tomorrow morning!
City Fan Posted 4 July 2005 Posted 4 July 2005 I might have to give this week a miss because I have left it to the last minute, and haven't really got time today.
Ricey Posted 4 July 2005 Author Posted 4 July 2005 Would it be a good idea to have a deadline extension for this round? Many people haven't quite had time to enter so maybe an extension of a few days will help.
City Fan Posted 4 July 2005 Posted 4 July 2005 Yeah I think that would be wise! I think a 10 day deadline instead of a 7 day would be better for most people as well.

Part of the competition includes the timescale, if you are going to change the rules, why have them in the first place. Would we be allowed to change the size? - No; Would we be allowed to change the subject? - No So why change the timescales?
City Fan Posted 4 July 2005 Posted 4 July 2005 If you are not happy with changing the timescale this week, maybe we should leave it like this for this week, and then change it from next week onwards?

Hitesh Posted 4 July 2005 Posted 4 July 2005 Im not going to be able to do it by 8pm. Start work soon and couldnt do it this morning. But i dont want the deadline changed because it is unfair on others. Im gonna do the next one though! Definilty!
davieG Posted 4 July 2005 Posted 4 July 2005 If you are not happy with changing the timescale this week, maybe we should leave it like this for this week, and then change it from next week onwards? 131642 If most people believe it should be extended then go with it, I just wanted to make the point as this appears to be happening in other walks of life like college/university assignments and that pisses me off. But i recognise that this is just a bit of fun and the timescales are self imposed, I'm certainly not expecting to nor am I bothered about winning it and only hope to improve my knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.
Ricey Posted 4 July 2005 Author Posted 4 July 2005 It seems a lot of people are interested in entering but they can't be bothered. I think the last round proved that you can design something simple but that still looks very good.
