Gallagher and Wellens were Pearson signings. As were Yann Kermorgant, Robbie Neilson and Ryan McGivern.

I'm not convinced the manager will make the right choices next month.

We had nowhere near the financial power we have available to us now. At the time Wellens was a great signing, he was regarded as one of the best midfielders in the division at the time.

Every manager makes mistakes when signing players, even the best. Look at Fergie for example he's signed some flops in his time.

With not a single bit of punctuation that hurt my brain trying to work out wtf you were on about! >_<

Could you please mark it Miss, so I can read it? Until then I'm not going to bother.

Happy New Year everybody :)

Think we all have to give Pearson time to turn things around, im not his biggest fan however one thing i am sure of is that he will steady the ship eventually and get us playing more fluidly in the near future. I went yesterday, we were woeful, 2nd half Portsmouth were the better side frankly and there were some worrying signs from our point of view. A home game, no passion, no desire, we actually looked much worse when Wellens went off, and Beckford passes to nobody, shocking, truely shocking.

However, lets (including myself) have some faith, things can only get better - i think!!!!!

Think we faded because Schlupp was running out of steam, he did an awful lot of chasing back and chasing down forward ball's and got clobbered a few time's. Doddering old Wellen's :xmaslaugh: also faded both mentally and physically but at least peeps who we're clamouring for Danns got to see that he is just the same in that position as he is on the wing's.

Are you really going to judge him on a total of 20 minutes game time?! I'll judge him if/when he ever gets a run in the side and by that I don't mean 90 minutes I mean 4 or 5 games consecutively.

I'll judge him on what i've seen from all the game's i have seen since he came here, he is not a first team player and that is with our under performing midfield.

He has the pace physically but not in speed of thought, he may be a nice bloke but he is not the answer to our midfield problem, i'm sure of that and that is why both under Sven and Nigel he is not a consistent first team player.

Maybe if he put's a little more thought into his game he can improve.

The thing is Pearson can't afford to just chuck people in to see if they can do it after 5 games. He has to go off training and what time he's given in games. And when he's had is chance Danns just hasn't performed except perhaps in one half at Forest. People mention the Derby game but I actually thought he was our weak link in that game.

I trust Pearson 100 per cent hes a good manager who has inherited a bad squad you can dress it up all you like sven has wasted a lot of money SSL attitude is terrible hes a poor player and has been given numerous opportunities and let us down every time. Bamba is a poor defender at this level he overplays way to much. Even schmeichel wastes time by insisting on trying to impress us with his long kicks it hasnt worked all season so stop trying it. The midfield is awful Wellens being the worst culprit he looks disinterested , Gallaghers set pieces are good but thats not enough he offers nothing else. I feel for King he doesnt look like he ever knows where hes supposed to be playing. Nugent works hard but wont get us 20 goals, Beckford has been awful but I feel he needs a run of games to find some form. Schlupp clearly isnt ready , Dyer is average , Danns has not lived up to his reputation granted Peltier and Konchesky look fairly solid but being brutally honest do you think sven has bought any good championship players to the club. Money effects people these average players are all on big money and have no desire to win or work because they know theyll still get there 20k each week. Pearson has a big job on his hands but I trust him and believe this time next year well be sitting pretty in the championship table.
