undey Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Just watched back sky coverage and Gary MacAllister nailed it, he said that Pearson will get some "Pearson players" and I was thinking not many of the players in the current team were any of his signings, would he have signed Mills? Beckford? So wait till the end of the transfer window and we should have got rid of the players he doesn't want and get some "pearson players"!
accessory Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Gallagher and Wellens were Pearson signings. As were Yann Kermorgant, Robbie Neilson and Ryan McGivern. I'm not convinced the manager will make the right choices next month.
ithuriel Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Gallagher and Wellens were Pearson signings. As was Yann Kermogant. And Ryan McGivern. I'm not convinced the manager will make the right choices next month. From a couple of seasons ago under different financial circumstances and they actually we're good for the team back then. Apart from Yann of course but who could tell he would go and do that.

I'm not convinced the manager will make the right choices next month. And how did Gallagher and Wellens do the first time he was here? Hardly fair to go 2 years down the line and blame Pearson for them playing poorly now.

I'm not convinced the manager will make the right choices next month. In fairness he had to purchase within his budget.Lets judge Pearson in a few months time patience people!
ithuriel Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 you calm down, im going to panic. Must be tired, for a second there i thought you typed picnic.
lovelcfc Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 But then look at the players he loaned cleverly now playing for united mark davis now playing for bolton that keeper cant remember the name now but hes playing for fullam so he can get good players and with a decent budget
davieG Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 New manager must have his own players sounds a familiar tale, wonder when we'll hear that again we must be averaging it twice a season is it any wonder the club is a shambles and yet the succession of owners still expects us to believe they know what they are doing. This continual merry go round of managers and players is destroying my motivation and killing my desire to continue my support.

MrFox781 Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Has Gary MacAllister spent 130 quid on a season ticket. wait till end of january then. player will come in and by feb all business will be done then in feb it will be the same excuse give them time to gel, okay give the feb to gel as a team. so we come into march 10,12 points off 6th place and go in to april win all games and you end up mid table wasting another season and 130 quid. yes i will ****ing calm down. dickhead.
He's not bald Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Nigel needs to sort it out for sure, just back from the pub and after hours of debate and analysis in every aspect of today's game and taking into account recent formations, statistics and results from previous games the expert opinion is...... (drum roll please)....shower of shite!!!!

Don't forget that when the January influx don't "gel" we will have to wait until the beginning of March before anyone on here is allowed to say anything about it without the pc police telling us we are not real fans, by that time it will be too late so we will rebuild in the summer and the team will have till November to "gel" de ja vous anyone?
Larry_LCFC Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Guys and gals it could be a lot worse. We could support forest fgs If I was them i'd be shitting myself.
Babylon Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 As were Yann Kermorgant, Robbie Neilson and Ryan McGivern. Good job they were on free transfers and loans, Sven paid out over £6m for Mills and St Ledger. Happy days.
cc_star Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 The players who are still in the team who were 'Pearson's players' have lost what made them good first time around Signing a whole team in the summer 75% of whom are worse than was already here has fecked up the apple cart. Pearson needs a summer and the season after that summer, or at least a healthy part of it to see if we're going in the right direction. January is no time to judge anything, look at last Jan... we won 7 games and then won only 2 of the last 14, shocking. NP will build a good squad, but there's a lot of negative energy in the dressing room which needs getting rid of, their presumably high contracts may prevent us getting rid of it though. People pointing out McGivern & co are slightly deluded they cost nothing! and forgetting about players like Cleverley, Spearing and many many others

I don't and I won't care about them or their current plight until 3pm next Saturday when their goal drought will probably end in spectacular style!

I don't give a f**k about how bad Forest, Coventry or Derby are doing. We might have been able to watch and laugh if we were riding high in the play off's but we're not. If anything we are more of a joke after spending over £10 million on players and some people thinking we'd win the league. No doubt Forest will end there goal drought on 7th January.

Guest MattP Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 £130. where do you sit in the car park i thin k we all need to calm down and see what happens KEEP THE FAITH!! I was gonna say, it takes some gall to have a moan when you are paying £5.65 a game.

Basingstoke Fox Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Imagine where we'd be now if we could've signed Davies, Cleverley and Spearing on a permenant. (Although we probably would never have landed Cleverley even with our money). If only we carried on building rather than doing a typical Leicester.
Fox1651 Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Happy New Year everybody Think we all have to give Pearson time to turn things around, im not his biggest fan however one thing i am sure of is that he will steady the ship eventually and get us playing more fluidly in the near future. I went yesterday, we were woeful, 2nd half Portsmouth were the better side frankly and there were some worrying signs from our point of view. A home game, no passion, no desire, we actually looked much worse when Wellens went off, and Beckford passes to nobody, shocking, truely shocking. However, lets (including myself) have some faith, things can only get better - i think!!!!!
