Guest Bilo Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 LOUD. Watch out for the City supporters in the home end as Larry scores.
Pegosteve Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 And the atmosphere!! Ever heard that at the Walkers or KP?
davieG Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Wow. Just wow. Brilliant channel as well. Wot no goal music, how ever did we manage?
rico Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 My favourite home game from 94, David Lowes finish was sublime some of Citys play was awesome that day
The Doctor Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 oh, if only I was about a decade older. Would have loved to experienced more of the games and atmospheres on that channel.
Guest Col city fan Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 oohh Tommy Wright Tommy Wright was my favourite player. A traditional, out and out winger. Great dribbling skills, a good cross and the ability to cut inside and slot it home... How we need a player like that now!

When i was a teenager I wanted to be him. Do we have any players in the team at the moment who the youngsters at the KP idolise? The atmosphere that day was out of this world. Will never be like that again but I'm lucky enough to have those memories. Bring on Forest.

The Cambridge 5-1 win in the play off second leg when Wright absolutely annihilated them down that left wing. I was there utterly pissed. It don't get better than that mate. Filbert st, full house, absolutely magic atmosphere.... Remember it like it were yesterday like...
acooling08 Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 I remember a few of the final games at Filbert Street when I was about 7 or 8, even with under 20k the atmosphere was much better than Filbert Way.
HEGGSY Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 I wish I could have experienced these types of days, it just doesn't seem like they'll be back anytime soon.
Guest Bilo Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 The only way the KP is likely to match these atmospheres is on a genuinely huge night; like a play-off semi against a local rival, League Cup semi or big European night against a big gun. Looks like we'll be waiting a while sadly.
Guest Bilo Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 I remember some of our football in the first half of this game being utterly sublime. Then along came Zeljko! How did he end up at Milan?!

Alan Young Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Topically, this was a fantastic 3rd round day, stood in Pen 3 with my mate who wore terrible green wellies. Made it on to MotD thanks to the cold weather. Just great memories. http://fansonline.net/leicestercity/article.php?id=614
I am Rod Hull Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Happy happy days... I wish my lad (16) could have experienced standing in pen 3 at Filbert Street and other grounds. I do feel for the younger generation who never had the chance to feel, smell, live it It really was that good.... "Lets go fvckin mental, lets go fvckin mental, la la la laa, la la la laa"
Sods Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 The channel is superb, fantastic to watch after having a few drinks.
I am Rod Hull Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 I used to record the Leicester games on video.. Still got them somewhere, maybe the loft.... The 2-3 WBA win was on of them and like Fintan said, the first half was just sublime... We looked like Arsenal.
