wolfgang amadeus Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 So I'm weighing up getting my first tattoo and I think if I do get one the first one will be a leicester one. Not sure what I'm looking for from this thread but I'm sure there's plenty of folk here with city tattoos that could offer a bit of advice. I'm not wanting one of a full badge with writing etc. but I've been looking at the running fox picture (old school badge) and whilst I'm unsure on the circle I think I want the fox involved. Was thinking maybe on a folded scarf or something but I think that may look crap. Am considering getting it high up on an arse cheek too as I'm not out to show it off and I think it'd look alright there. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a tattoo of the running fox badge on someones profile on here but I could be mistaken, anyway if anyone has any advice for me or wants to show off their tat all are welcome.

I was going to get that one you've posted but decided it was a little bit girly in some way so after seeing someone else on here get it, i got this one done (ignore the bad photo, my cameras not great). Not finished yet as I was undecided what wording to get written (decided not want Leicester City accross the top and 1884 underneith) Also planning a pin up girl on the other leg wearing the ind coope pin stripe shirt.

Definitely would recommend something more like djmadness has where the tattoo can involve some shading and not too many bold colours or lines. Going to a decent tattooist is a must aswell its very easy to go to a tattooist who has not got any bookings instead of someone who is booked up for a month but usually there is a reason why some tattooists are always busy and why others are always available here's a few funny football tattoos that I was looking at the other day http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php/topic/151827-terrible-football-tattoos/

I agree - football tattoos tend to mark out a cvnt in the crowd. Getting ink, get something original drawn up by someone that is personal to you and will be something you are proud of for the rest of your life. I got pissed and had one done last year And never get a tattoo done when you're pissed. If the tat artist is happy to do you while drunk then he is a prize cvnt and should be avoided like the plague as you can't trust him/her...and if you can't trust him/her you can't trust what you are about to get from his/her needles. Only twats get stencil tattoos done when they're drunk. (Said in a loving way)

The guy was a prize twat though. Not wrong there.
