purpleronnie Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Yes I watch it, along with seeking salvage, salvage hunters, pawn stars, etc etc... I do like storage wars but cant help thinking its a little staged, a lot of the prices they quote for the stuff seems too high its ok estimating what you'll get but what you will get is another matter. Plus I could never understand why so much really expensive stuff is left in storage lockers surely if you cant pay the bill you'll get a loan to get back the expensive stuff, I understand that some may actually have passed away or maybe gone to jail but I cant imagine that would make up the huge amounts of storage lockers that are 'abandoned'. Another thing that I dont understand is why the storage business owners dont cherry pick all the good stuff from the lockers. Maybe it works out in the long run to be more profitable to sell the lockers job lott but how tempting would it be just to have a look through unless there are laws in place that they lockers have to be auctioned off.
