Thracian Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 The son of mine who's a Southampton fan left the ground because of it 15 minutes from the end. He was with the Southampton fans and was utterly disgusted...and the more so after having lost his own partner in childbirth less than a year ago.

Some of the stuff he was on the receiving end of was utterly vile. Anyway, I'd imagine that the FA have got their hands full with Joey Barton at the minute!

I'm sure Nige will be having a word this week, last thing we need is stuff like that beng attached to the football club.

I wonder if Nugent is going to get any kind of warning for instigating it in the first place. Not saying that what the idiot Saints fans wrote is justified because of what he wrote but it needs to be recognised that Nugent cast the first stone in all of this.

Posted 27 January 2012 Posted 27 January 2012 I expect it will be taken into account, hopefully he will be banned from twitter, would be very happy to see Nigel come down on it and say no more tweeting, or at least have a private account (I assume a private account means you can only be tweeted by people you allow, and only people that follow you can see your tweets).
