Paul Reynaud Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 'Allo Foxes, Bees fan here. Just wanted to know what the situation is with Schlupp's injury. When do you think he will be ready to play again? I was thinking Nigel Pearson seems to have his attacking option clearer now and might want to send Schlupp out on loan for a month to get match practice. We just picked up Saido Berahino on loan from Baggies, the guy is awesome. Schlupp would love playing in a side with him and Clayton Donaldson and Uwe Rosler wants ball players, not cloggers. One other thing. I watched the famous Leicester v Shrewsbury cup tie on YouTube not so long ago. Just loved watching Steve Lynex in action. Good luck for the rest of the season, as usual the Championship play-off race is shaping up as quite a contest.
Kitchandro Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 He's back in training apparently. I wouldn't want him to go out on loan, Beckford and Nugent have formed a good partnership in recent weeks but I think Schlupp is good enough for the bench, though Delfouneso might be favoured ahead of him. I'd certainly prefer him to Howard (a big lump who's past it) and Vassell (also past it). But I wouldn't rule out him coming to you again for a short while. Good luck to you as well, personally I think our play-off charge is still dead, it's all about the cup for us
Out Foxed Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 don't see it happening for you mate if i'm honest. pearson would rather play the schluppinator than the fonz if he had the choice. good luck for your season too, hopefully we can both make a late run for the playoffs.
Paul Reynaud Posted 24 February 2012 Author Posted 24 February 2012 I think it's Steve Howard's job to be a lump, isn't it? He does have his uses on occasion.
Mack Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 There's no chance of Schlupp going out on loan anywhere in my opinion. Howard is your man.
LCFC FOX Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 I think Schlupp could go out on loan. With Nugent and Beckford looking strong and delfounseo looking like his loan will be extended. Then we have Waghorn and Vassel back in training. Think Schlupp will be out on loan soon with big Steve when Waghorn and Vassel are both fit.

He was one of our better players at the start of the season and certainly hasn't lost his pace.

foxes2011 Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 glad he might be coming back , waghorn must be close now as well and we have not seen johnson for along time also players like vassel.
Langston Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 I'm actually really looking forward to seeing Waghorn under Pearson again.
Guest shearfox Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 I'm actually really looking forward to seeing Waghorn under Pearson again. Same me, he was a key figure during our playoff season...
Leicester Lass Posted 28 February 2012 Posted 28 February 2012 Scored for the reserves today. Moussa scored twice too. http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2627324,00.html
