Paulo Di Canio

Recommended Posts

If we are going to change the manager lets make life at the king power fun and unpredictable, and replace Nigel with his polar opposite... The Itallian Stallion. :P

  • Paulo Di Canio would grace the touchline in a stylish suit with hand made Itallian shoes - But not a patch on Pearson's finely tailored LCFC tracksuit and white boxfresh trainers
  • Paulo Di Canio would be more eloquent and more flamboyant than laurence llewelyn bowen - as opposed to Pearsons, eeeerrrrrrrmmmmmm level headedness in interviews
  • Paulo Di Canio would need a translator to understand Ian Stringer - While Pearson, just refuses to be 'understood' by Ian Stringer
  • Paulo Di Canio would be 'THE' prima donna in the dressing room - While Pearson struggles to remove them from his dressing room
  • Paulo Di Canio would kick off and push the ref onto the floor - Not like Pearson who has the dressing room floor stolen by the Ref.
  • Paulo Di Canio would tell Richie Wellens and the media he's old and overrated - Not like Pearson who tells him he's old and gives him the day off.

What better way to end a miserable day with a bit of light hearted imagination and laughter.

I just can't wait for Finners to state his opinions on this suggestion.

I just can't see PDC being a long term success, passion can only take you so far if you're a hot head like he is.

Look at Roy Keane. You need a bit of level headedness to balance out the fiery temper and hairdryer treatments.

DI Canio's manic tenure at Swindon continues...

After their first fixture of the new year, Di Canio played a gag on his player that scored 4 goals by running off with the match ball before giving it back to him, and then celebrating wildly in the middle of the field.

As Swindon's financial problems continue to mount, Di Canio got a bit emotional during an interview (go figure) and offered £30k of his own money to keep the club afloat.

Also, after 200 volunteers spent 7 hours clearing snow off the County Ground pitch, Di Canio bought pizza for all of them.

Di Canio has Swindon playing well, however it looks like their ultimate undoing might not be his own madness as we all assumed, but the club being a financial basket case.

They didn't get very much each then did they.
