Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 Which can be played here... http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/6music-quiz/quiz/ 3814 3722 3302 4683 That'll do.
Zingari Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 i only got 3 correct and they were lucky guesses 1567 i better stick to old Bruce
General Smuts Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 Much easier than that old people nonsense. 4506 on my first crack.
Webbo Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 3215 first go. That Steve LeMaq asks some shit questions.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 March 2012 Author Posted 22 March 2012 I think it's a little too easy to guess the right answers with only 3 options. Slightly easier than Ken's.
Stay Positive Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 I played this on my home PC, which is really slow, and got 9 of the 10 questions correct, only to be greeted with "That was pathetic" at the end because the sluggishness of my PC meant I couldn't answer the questions very quickly and only scored 1977 points. That was actually quite annoying because I didn't guess ANY of them except the one I got wrong.
Stay Positive Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 Just got 4799 at my first attempt on my work PC. That beats Trav's so I'm happy with that. Actually only answered 8 correctly that time as well!
Stay Positive Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 5502 this time, which, had I registered, would have put me 261st on the High Scores list. EDIT - Personal best: 7106, which put me 41st on the High Scores. Need to keep playing this until I get in the top ten high scores...
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 March 2012 Author Posted 24 March 2012 There's only 8 questions in this version.
Stay Positive Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 There's only 8 questions in this version. Indeed. Bit of a typo there. I got 7 out of 8 first time around, not 9 out of 10. Hmmm...I got the impression you thought I was lying, so I've registered and signed in - as "Loz" - and will have several scores on that high score list by the end of the day! EDIT: I've cracked the top 40 with a score of 7214. I presently stand in 35th place. Woohoo!
Stay Positive Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 I'm up to 11th. Can't quite crack the top ten yet though... EDIT: FINALLY, a top ten placing.
Stay Positive Posted 27 March 2012 Posted 27 March 2012 I couldn't swear on this but I think I've gone above Steve Lamacq himself. I'm pretty sure I've heard him say he's played it and had reached the top ten. If it IS him, he's 4th and I'm 3rd.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 March 2012 Author Posted 27 March 2012 It does have to be said though that the questions repeat quite often and there must be about a dozen questions that I didn't know that I now know purely from having played through a few dozen times.

Well yes, I admit, if it IS Steve Lamacq who is a place behind me, the truth is that he probably played it once and got into the top ten high scores, whereas I played it about 350 times to get 3rd...
