Simo86 Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 We best leave Manny out of it. He's too busy for spell checking! You should see his text messages!
HEGGSY Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012
Normally we have 6 teams i think?
Fair enough.
HEGGSY Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 So if two more people put their name down, that's 6 teams of 6.
Simo86 Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 So if two more people put their name down, that's 6 teams of 6. Yeah if we find a date that everyone is available for. If we can get a date which allows for at least 6 teams of 5 it'll be good
HEGGSY Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Yeah if we find a date that everyone is available for. If we can get a date which allows for at least 6 teams of 5 it'll be goo The date is where the problems lie. I'm available any day but Sundays and the 30 th June is also a bit inconvenient.
Simo86 Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 What happened last time was a poll was made about which weekends people could do, and then did one saying saturday or sunday if I remember rightly
Simo86 Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Is it better to play in May or June. I don't think it matters
Simo86 Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 I was just thinking weather wise. I see your point. Still a lottery either way. Probably plump for June as it'll give whoever more time to sort it
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Saturdays are the best for me, and Mid May-Mid June i'm free whenever
Father Ted Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Victoria Park got all their new goal posts and marked pitches. Played on it the other night, if its nice we can have loads of games going at once, and its free too! Are they the cages? If so, no chance because they work on a winner stays on basis and anybody can turn up and play... we can't just like have Foxestalk take it over!
davieG Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 This was last years details, remember though that just because you have nearly 40 names doesn't mean they'll be available to play or that they'll turn up on the day, last year we struggled to get 6 teams of 5 on the day and no refs. You could also do with a time keeper. Saturday is the best day as people struggle with transport on Sundays, teams were drawn out of a hat when the date and all the names were confirmed. After organising it for the last 4 years I've decided to give it a miss this year but this should be enough info for someone else to take it on, whoever does if they have any questions feel free to pm me - best of luck to whoever volunteers. HEGGSY Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Aron couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery, which is strange, I thought he'd have a bigger brain, considering the size of his head.

ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Aron couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery, which is strange, I thought he'd have a bigger brain, considering the size of his head. uncalled for. I'm doing A-Levels, don't see you doing any
HEGGSY Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 I was joking, Christ. As for A levels - I'm doing a plumbing course and have a well paid P/T job, although I don't see what that has to do with anything.

I'm doing a plumbing course. Now what? Stop being so sensitive.
I'm not, I'm sticking up for myself
HEGGSY Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Fair enough Aron. I apologise for any offence I may have caused with my comment.
