I just wanted to say a massive thank you to every one that sponsored me not only for the head shaving thing but for the LOROS walk I did a few months ago as well. My friend sadly passed away this Tuesday just gone, which was also her Birthday as well. She was with my best friend (her husband) when she died who was at her side at home. She had a long battle and fought it bravely with more courage than I'd have had if it had been me. I wasn't going to post this but, as I said, I wanted to say a big thanks to every one that either donated to the causes or that simply wished her good luck in the battle. Thanks all. MikeyT. x

cambridgefox Posted 12 April 2012 Posted 12 April 2012 Sorry to hear that Mikey.Very sad,i do hope you are ok and you should be proud of yourself for all the effort and money you have raised,not only for your dear friend but to other cancer sufferers YOU have helped.Its people like you that made it possible for people like my dad get the care and the nurses before he sadly died a year ago next Monday.For that i thank you, and when you are having a crap day think of all the good you have done give yourself a pat on the back and hold your head up high because you deserve to.
