Pens and Reds

Am I right in thinking we have now given away 11 pens and had 9 reds this season? So 20 times out of 43 games we have given the opposition an advantage.

That's pretty much one every other game. With stats like this it's no wonder we can't put a winning run together!

Nigel really needs to address both of these issues in time for next season. They can't all have been down to bad refs?

Not quite 20.... I think Mills was given a straight red for fouling a player in the box, so not quite 20. Plus Kasper was sent off against Forrest and we gave a penalty away. But that's me being pedantic.

Yep, I said the same on Twitter when we conceded the penalty today. So on average, we give away a goal (basically) or a man once every two games. No wonder we don't win consistently. It's win one, get a man sent off and lose, get a draw, give away a penalty and lose, win, more men sent off etc.

Ridiculous.

Well no matter how many games it is, we have given away far too many penalties! In terms of the red cards, some have been awful refereeing decisions.
