Mark_w Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 I hate the fact he walks back into the team whenever he is fit. Walks back? Substitute against Doncaster, scores. Substitute against Ipswich, sets up the winning goal. Obviously Nigel put him straight back into the side and he did nothing to warrant his selection.

THEFATBASTARD Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 he is what he is, take it or leave it, average championship player in an average championship team.. will play 3 games then miss two games with a knock..if people are happy with that great..but it takes this club nowhere..

Scored two and did nothing untill injury again. ** I might be wrong. Why the face? Gallagher is rubbish, and thats being nice.

Gallagher is rubbish, and thats being nice. The face is for you claiming he walked back in. I find Gallagher incredibly frustrating TBH because he is obviously very talented but doesn't show it often enough, to say however that he walked back in is complete bollocks, he earned his place in the team with the performances against Donny and Ipswich. Blaming it all on Gallagher when the team hasn't been good enough to get promotion all year doesn't help anyone.
roachmachine Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 For me Gallagher is shocking, powderpuff and lightweight, spends most of his time ducking under headers and shirking tackles, yes he scores a great 30 yarder now and again, but one good performance in 10 is just not good enough. Most of his cornerns don't beat the 1st man, likewise with alot of his free kicks. Wellens is no better, had his day, thanks but bye bye, others in the same vein, Howard (tho i do like him) Dyer, very quick with a trick but no end product, and most of the time woeful finishing, Weale, one good season, but most of the time very poor, we need some new blood that is for sure, if nothing else, getting rid of the aforementioned would stop NP falling into the same trap time after time after time after time after time after time after time
Mark_w Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Weale, one good season, but most of the time very poor One good season One relatively bad season How does that equate to most of the time?
Jace Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 The only time Gally is moving quickly is when he is the passenger in Richie Wellens BMW burning around Leicester City centre. Incredibly gifted though when it comes to striking a ball prefer Marshall taking corners though
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Sick of all these threads but Gallagher is completely useless when where playing away because most away teams play counter attacking football when away, Gallagher is good when ur completely in control of the game like we are when we are at home!
carlhltid Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 I hate the fact he walks back into the team whenever he is fit. He is not good enough, no pace, doesn't win any headers, doesn't get stuck in and gets knocked off of the ball to easy. Doesn't show any passion, and his only good attributes are set peices although they are not consistant or good enough either. He isn't good enough for a team looking for promotion, and should be sold in my opinion. i agree
roachmachine Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 ok if were gonna be that pedantic tho i wouldn't expect anything else on here, 50% of the time, there everybody happy now

Blaming it all on Gallagher when the team hasn't been good enough to get promotion all year doesn't help anyone. He is skillfull, but lazy. He hardly shows it, and we shouldn't accomodate him because he is "good at set pieces" (which I disagree with anyway). I am not blaming it all on Gallagher, but when there is a thread about him, I am going to post what I think - he isn't good enough. I know the team hasn't been good all season, hence where we currently sit in the League.
