Daggers Posted 15 April 2012 Author Posted 15 April 2012 "It's like the officials have a conspiracy against us" "We always get crap refs" "The Thais are successful businessmen and know what they're doing" "4 - 4 - 2" and any reference to the EDL, being some kind of tasty lad in the 70s/80s or Foxy Fangirls.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 I'd like to ban people using the " " emoticon as a response in its own right. If you are so moved by something that it makes you want to hit yourself in the face surely you should be able to come up with a few words to tell us all why. In terms of actual words though I'm fairly liberal.
Corky Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 "We always get crap refs" It's "We always get shit refs"
Donut Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Id just like to quash all talk about ''ohhh theyre footballers they dont do anything all week'' ''ohhhh they train a couple of hours, theyre tired blah blah'' ''oh he gets paid more in a week than me in a year'' If youre so morally offended by this, dont follow football. Theyre paid the going rate for the job they do. Whatever job you do isnt football, you get paid for your skills in that job. I also dont give a crap if you work all the hours under the sun for your meager pay packet. This has no relevance to football or the argument itself, so dont bring into the equation ''i work so hard and they should too''. they try their best. Anyone playing any sport professionally or not has an inbuilt sense of pride and will to win. its there from a young age. And players do get tired. Physically and mentally. Increase in money does not equate to infinite energy levels. My basic point is, i just HATE when people jump on a negative bandwagon as a way of trying to relieve their feelings of inadequacy as people. controverisial it may be, but thats my view
flowwolf Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 I would like people to stop claiming they are a " intellectual "
Donut Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Id also like people to learn the laws of football a bit better and therefore not sound stupid at football example: ''heeee won the fvcking ballllllll'' screamed at top of lungs completely ignoring the completely over the top reckless dangerous force used to do so
Saxondale Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Any references to specific players we should 'definitely sign', as if we will automatically be able to buy them and they'd want to come. Especially when they are mediocre Championship players. Also, no more claiming the answer to all of our problems is the reinstating of whichever player has been left out for a few games. PS. Leicester City is an anagram of Electric Yetis. That is all.
brockmyster Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 Kermo was decent that stopped being funny after about the tenth time let alone the millionth although I now guarentee someone will comment it now especially after I've said that aswell. Also people saying let's sign 'player from last game that scored one or had just a half decent game'
