ScouseFox Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 There are Liverpool fans different to those described in this thread. Just throwing that out there.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 There are Liverpool fans different to those described in this thread. Just throwing that out there. Of that I'm absolutely sure. Unfortunately it's not these ones that get the air-time or media attention.
lcfcadam Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Alan Davies took a bit of a battering in the press for some comments that I was a little surprised never made an FT thread, essentially suggesting people should get the **** over Hillsborough. He wasn't being particularly directly disrespectful to the dead or their families and neither do I intend to be but I do agree. Perhaps that was a rare display of reason and intelligence from FT members en masse. Alan Davies' article summed up exactly how I feel about the whole situation (always useful, saves me failing to explain my views through badly / drunkenly written prose), and any sane human being would agree entirely with what he said. Unfortunately many people with an emotional connection to Liverpool Football Club seem to have lost their sanity many aeons ago...
Corky Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 There are Liverpool fans different to those described in this thread. Just throwing that out there. Absolutely. I find it bizarre though that people grieving for the dead would wish death on another person.
